I think that by this stage you will be thoroughly embarassed to have been caught out like this. It is extremely important with rocketry, even water rocketry, that safety comes first.

If you have any sense, take this as a lesson and stop doing things that you are told not to. If you are at a learning establishment, I bet that your teacher or lecturer hasn't clicked here and if you are doing this as a hobby and not as part of a course then take note of this.

Take this opportunity to go back to the Water Rocket Index and don't do anything you are told not to.
