The results of the graphs are displayed
as colours on the 2 dimensional graph with a
colour bar up the right hand side showing the
ranges for each colour. Any optimisations
using the search function are performed
according to the particular result that you
have chosen.
There are currently 6 results to choose
from:

Maximum Height - for
optimisations for altitude record
attempts; |

Maximum Speed - for
optimisations for two stage rockets -
booster stage; |

Maximum Acceleration
- guard against excessive
acceleration if you are using special
equipment onboard; |

Time to Apogee - a
`quick and dirty' way of optimising
for maximising flight time for
parachute but by choosing only a
short limit on the model so as to
speed up the search (see Model Time);

Flight Time - for
the US Science Olympiad Water
Rocketry event; and, |
|
Distance Downrange -
for Japanese Water Rocketry
competitions. |
Once you have selected one of these,
you are not stuck with it - you will not need
to recalculate the entire plot to see another
output variable - as you can switch between
them in the plot screen. See Optimisations
for more details.
